Thoughtfully presented with everything to make a stay very comfortable . Milk in the fridge and a cake was a lovely thought

Very clean cosy and warm lively host made a big cake for us left milk and bread suger and tea bags so was nice to find

The house was great, good amenities, host was lovely and made us feel welcome. There were also a few choices for good food right on the doorstep.
Quite a small house but that was okay for two nights.

Great location in a beautiful village. Good local amenities with dogs welcome in most. Good transport links to York.
Cottage is absolutely tiny. Bathroom is cramped and impractical. Property is quite tight for three people. This could just be us but the photograph used to advertise the property is misleading. The cottage for holiday rental is the small section to the right of the double fronted cottage in the photograph. Like I said, this could just be us. We recently rented a much larger property in nearby Upper Poppleton with a great village location, great amenities and with great transport links to York for the same price and it was much better all round and definitely better value for money.
