From the moment you step inside this light-filled condo in Summer House Villas, you'll be treated to wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the palms swaying in the breeze. Watch the waves roll in from the living room, the dining area, the kitchen, and the primary suite, and enjoy easy oceanfront access to the beach and a community swimming pool.
The beach and the pool are just a few steps away, allowing you to easily spend your days swimming, sunbathing, and taking long walks on the sand. Venture across the street for breakfast or lunch at the golf course pro shop, then hit a few balls on the driving range or play a round of golf. The heart of downtown Isle of Palms - with its many shops, cafes, and restaurants - is four miles west, and the world-famous restaurants of historic downtown Charleston (17 miles west) are an easy day trip away.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
No Sportscard (Wild Dunes' amenities are limited to golf, the pool, dining, and bike trails).
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 3.
Dock details: The freshwater fishing dock is located at the corner of Lagoon Road and Back Bay Drive.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We came down to the Isle of Palms for celebrating my mother-in-law‘s 80th birthday and the house wasn’t quite big enough so we used this apartment which was 3 minutes drive away to for overflow. It was a great apartment. They were doing work on the lower basement level when we were there, but that should be all done by now. The bedrooms are good. They were spread apart from each other with bathrooms in the middle. Great view and nice pool to swim

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at this property. I don’t think the decor is as dated as the other reviews made it sound. It was perfectly fine for a family of four. The location was great, and it had easy access to the pool, beach, and walking path.
My only complaint is that a beach property in the beach in the middle of the summer should be stocked with more towels. There were 3 beach towels and 5 bath towels. Only one hand towel in the whole place! I was glad we had brought a few of our own towels to take down to the pool and for sweat when my husband played tennis on a hot day.

Having vacationed in Wild Dunes for many years, this was the 1st time to rent there using Vacasa and were very disappointed. While the individual unit was well-stocked and in a great location, we were never advised of on-going building construction noise that would prevent enjoyment of the balcony as well as continual drilling, hammering and sawing inside the unit starting as early as 8:00 every workday. A text was sent @ 2 days before arrival @ fencing in the parking lot but nothing was noted in January when we first rented nor when the final payment was due. On the website, the estimated nightly rate using the dates to rent (for June) was considerably lower than what our actual bill was. The door lock was also a challenge in that it frequently timed out when trying to get thru the 10 digit sequence with all green lights.
