Yan is a very welcoming host who respects your privacy. The room has everything you might need, including a sink, kettle, and dishes. The toilet is shared, but it's located close to your room door. The building is located on the banks of a canal and it is so picturesque. All the city's main points are close as well.
The stairs are a bit steep but it is OK.

We enjoyed the stay very much! Our favorite part about the room was the balcony. It was in a central area of Amsterdam and we were in walking distance to everything we needed.
My only concern about the property is something that is common in most of Amsterdam the stairs! They are very steep and we were on the third floor I believe. This property would not be accessible for people that cannot navigate steep steps and a lot of them.
