About this house rental
Brand new (2019) Scandinavian lodge for 8-10 people with luxurious automatic hot tub and large trampoline. Located on the outskirts of the village of Küstelberg with beautiful panoramic views over the nature reserve Hillekopf. The lodge is detached (1100 m2) with a large terrace, garden and veranda where you can enjoy the peace, privacy and breathtaking views. In 8 minutes you are in the charming villages of Winterberg and Medebach. The lodge is cooled and / or heated by a geothermal heat pump.
The lodge is ground floor, fully equipped and tastefully decorated. It has a large living room with high wooden beamed ceiling and open kitchen with modern appliances. From the living room you walk through the patio doors onto the terrace and the veranda. On the porch are a luxury bbq and robust dining table. On the terrace is a lounge set and the hot tub where you can enjoy a glass under a beautiful clear starry sky. The hot tub can be set at the touch of a button and stays at the same temperature throughout your stay.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds. The other two bedrooms have a Scandinavian bunk bed, below a French bed and above a single bed.
There are three spacious parking spaces at the house.

We visited with 6 people including 3 and 5 year Olds, parents and grandparents. The lodge met all our expectations and we had an amazing 3 day stay. It was clean, quiet, well equipped and felt cosy and homely. We were lucky with the winter weather and the kids very much enjoyed playing in the snow in the yard. The sled and snow toys as well as kids games in the lodge were a very welcome surprise. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We had some slight trouble with locking the front door and our questions were answered immediately and the facility manager came by to assist. Thank you. We will remember our stay fondly.

Beautiful, well-presented and immaculate lodge in natural setting. Friendly and easy communication with hosts. Not only our kids loved the trampoline and outdoor hot tub. All amenities fully functional.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus (insbesondere auch die Küche) in ruhiger Lage. Wir waren schon öfter zu Besuch und kommen auch sicher wieder. Der heiße Pool ist immer ein Highlight. Für große und kleine Kinder gibt es einen beeindruckenden Spielplatz am Rand von Medebach (5 Minuten mit dem Auto).

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig mit wunderbarem freien Blick in die Natur ! Kleines Manko : das Grundstück ist steil abschüssig ( nichts für kleine Kinder) ist aber eingezäunt ! Konnte man auf den Bildern nicht erkennen . Hot Pot, Trampolin , Hängeliege ,Grill, überdachte Terrasse u außen Sitzbereich waren klasse u wurden von uns sehr gerne und ausgiebig genutzt. Der Hot pot war natürlich bei allen das große Erlebnis . Man muss das Wasser allerdings täglich , trotz Chlor, erneuern … geht aber schnell . Das Haus innen ist sehr gemütlich u zweckmäßig eingerichtet . Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein . Bei unserer Ankunft war leider der Außenbereich nicht gepflegt ( Rasen nicht gemäht , Aschenbecher voll, Kohleeimer voll, benutzte Tempos auf der Terrasse , Grillrost schmutzig, Blumenkübel verwahrlost ) für diesen Preis etwas mehr Pflege erwartet ! Innenbereich: Kühlschrank weist Schimmel auf, WC-Lüftung kaputt ( Dauerbetrieb 24 Stunden lang ) WC Fenster Sprung im Glas . Für so ein neues hochwertiges Haus erwartet man mehr Pflege insgesamt . Dennoch haben wir sehr schöne Tage erlebt !
