A great stay! We had a great time, the location was good but a heads up swanage is a hilly! We had a little one so the garden was a hit - just be mindful that there isn’t much space within the property for children, so if you have more than one it might not be suitable. Stephen messaged before our visited with a compressive list of what we needed to know (thank you!). The gardener visited and was friendly, however he was there for around four hours which seemed like a long time, we noticed afterwards we could have moved his visit but think this was a communication error on both parts. Overall a great stay, parking is on the road but plenty and easy to get to! Bedrooms were all a good size and bathrooms were clean - overall a great stay and highly recommend.

We still can't believe we were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful house. Every room was quirky and charming and memorable. The four of us (husband, sons, self) spread out in this house with so much room to spare. We started each day with scones in the conservatory, each time finding a new detail to admire. It took us a morning to fully explore the grounds and all their nooks and crannies. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the seashore and also a pleasant walk south to Durlston Castle. A perfect stay and probably inspiration for my youngest son's first novel. Thank you to our wonderful unseen hosts!

Amazing cottage in a perfect location for exploring Swanage. Quirky decor that'll have you spending hours wandering around examining. Plenty of space for everyone.

The house is in a great position just beyond the town centre. It is very roomy and very good for three couples, having three bathrooms. There is a lot of space inside, and a lovely garden. The decor is quirky, but good fun, with the most antlers I have ever seen! We did have problems with the lack of hot water in the mornings, But Stephen (the host) did his best to sort it remotely during our stay and has offered us a small refund. I would thoroughly recommend Clarence Cottage.
