Fantastic Location: Just a short, scenic walk from the stunning village of Gordes, with beautiful countryside hiking trails right on our doorstep. Excellent Amenities: Our cottage was comfortable, well-equipped, and featured a wonderful private outdoor space complete with a dining table, sun loungers, and our own pétanque pitch. Great Shared Facilities: The large on-site swimming pool was rarely crowded, surrounded by plenty of sun beds, and provided a perfect escape from the heat. Outstanding Hospitality: Our concierge, Gustave, was incredibly helpful and responsive via WhatsApp, taking care of everything from fresh morning bakery deliveries to restaurant bookings and (although in the end we didn’t use this due to the heat) offered bike hires.

While the large swimming pool was incredibly refreshing and a welcome relief during the hot days, it is unheated and could be a little chilly at first.

Mold in the bedrooms Half the closets in bedrooms were unusable as full of cleaning supplies The smaller bedroom was not good enough for two adults: twin beds were very small and mattresses were thin. It also contained a little surprise: the hot water tank was in the wardrobe! This created an unhealthy atmosphere in the room. Nowhere to store our stuff or luggage really.
