About this house rental
In our holiday house, surrounded by roses and bux, you can expect a small but fine, lovingly furnished apartment (45sqm).
Up to 4 people can be comfortably accommodated on two floors in a living room (with kitchen function), another bedroom and two bathrooms (each with shower and toilet).
The apartment is fully tiled.
There is satellite TV with radio and WiFi on both floors.
Bed linen, towels and a hair dryer are provided.
Books on the Rheingau landscape and culture are abundantly available. Hiking maps and guides are plentiful.
The kitchenette is equipped with a hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle.
To supply everything you need, the bakery, butcher and of course our estate taverns in the winery are very close.
Children are welcome and have a lot of space to play in the garden.
By the 5th You can live with us free of charge at the age of one year.
In the garden you can relax on benches and deckchairs.
Enjoy your vacation on your own terrace in front of the garden house when the weather is nice.
Location of our apartment: central yet quiet.
Approximately The vineyards are 200 meters away on foot; it is less than 50 meters to the bus stop.
Our holiday cottage is ideal for Rheinsteig hikers who do not want to carry their luggage around with them all the time, ie are looking for a solid basis for their "baggage" and a starting point for new stages every day.
The bus stop (with all lines along the Rhine) is around 50 meters from the winery. You step out of the house in the morning, take the bus one or two stages against the direction of travel and then hike "home" again.
Or you just start running in the morning and the bus takes you from the stage destination back to Rüdesheim, where it virtually drops you right in front of the house.
In this way you can (depending on the length of your stay) the stages from Wiesbaden to z. B. according to Kaub or St. Hike to Goarshausen without having to bother with luggage every day or having to search for accommodation.

Well, you get what you pay for... We didn't want to stay in a hotel in the heart of town, because you don't get much room to move around in your room, and no refrigerator or microwave, just a bed to sleep in. So we opted for this little cottage. So you do get a microwave and refrigerator, but still not much room to move round in. And you're not really in the center of town, you still have to take a bus or drive into town, so you might as well have stayed in a hotel. I don't know, I wish I could be more positive, but the place is tiny and cluttered and the check-in process was far from ideal. I wish I had stayed somewhere else...

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Tolle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.
Der Garten war sehr schön. Küche war alles vorhanden und wir konnten alles gut nutzen. Schutzgitter für die Fenster würden die Wohnung enorm aufwerten! Daher nur ein Minuspunkt. Schnell in der Stadt und zum Einkaufen. Alles gut erreichbar!

Es ist eigentlich keine Wohnung, sondern nur 1 Zimmer, welches man über eine kleine knarrende Treppe erreicht. Im Zimmer dominiert das große Doppelbett, sodass man nicht mehr viel Platz zum Bewegen hat. Unten, neben dem Hauseingang gibt es noch ein separates Schlafzimmer mit einem Mini Bad, welches aber für die weiteren 2 Personen angedacht ist. Dieses ist geräumig und ok. Die 2. Nacht haben wir dann dort verbracht, da es uns oben zu eng wurde. Da ging es dann besser. Aber: Die "Wohnung" ist bis zu 4 Personen ausgelegt, das funktioniert aufgrund der Enge im obigen Zimmer nicht. Hier können sich keine 4 Personen bewegen und frühstücken ohne immer wieder wo anzustoßen. Fazit: Wer dies in Kauf nimmt und zentral in der Innenstadt und Nähe zu der Drosselgasse wohnen möchte ist hier richtig. Für ein paar Tage ist die Unterkunft, wenn man zu zweit ist ok, für einen längeren Urlaub eher nicht.
