About this house rental
The living area with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area is on the first level. On the second level there are 2 bedrooms each with their own baths and an open space office area, all with a direct view to the sea. In the basement there is a big bedroom , an open area with a single bed and a full bath.There is as small town within 6 kilometers from the house where you can find supermarkets drug stores, banks, bakeries, taverns cafe, public Medical center etc. The area is suitable to relax and enjoy the countryside and to take walks and explore. In addition to the pool facilities there is also a wood burning oven for those with exceptional cooking skills.
A car is necessary and there is ample private gated parking . Its easy to visit many archeological sites (Marathon, etc) around Athens or to other destinations (Delphi, etc) .

First, let me say John and Theo were AMAZING hosts. They went above and beyond to greet us and ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. As the home is slightly outside of a small village, my GPS had a hard time navigating me to the right place but John quickly found me so I could follow him to the home. Theo and John made a wonderful homemade meal to warmly welcome us to Greece (seriously above and beyond). The dinner was delicious and so much appreciated after a long day of traveling. They provided my family and I some great suggestions of activities and places to visit during our stay. Any questions or concerns I had were quickly answered. We couldn’t have had better hosts for our first time visiting Greece.As for the home, it’s about 7km outside of the closest town. It’s the perfect place to stay to unwind and just relax. You have a fantastic pool to dip in and the views are insanely breathtaking! Our family enjoyed the back patio overlooking the gulf and swimming in the pool for most of our stay. The home is very roomy and open with 3 floors total. The lower level is almost like its own separate house with all of the rooms and space down there. You will definitely need to rent a car though as walking anywhere is out of the question. I would love to stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Greece again someday. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a more laid back getaway.

Our stay was great. Also thanks to the nice owners who gave us a warm welcome and even prepared us a meal when we arrived! We had a mix of relaxation and sight seeing and both region and house are excellent for this. For more entertainment, Kapandriti is closeby.
The swimmingpool is large and the terrace has a great view at the sea in the distance. A great place to be.

Die Vermieter waren super freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Sie haben uns warmherzig empfangen und gute Tipps für das nahegelegene Dorf zum Einkaufen und Essen bzw. Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Strände gegeben. Das Haus war komplett und sehr ansprechend ausgestattet, die Küche hatte sogar einen Geschirrspüler und es gab zusätzlich eine Außenküche mit Holzkohlegrill und Backofen. Leistungsstarke Klimaanlagen waren in den oberen Schlafzimmern und im Wohnbereich vorhanden. Um zum Haus zu gelangen ist ein Fahrzeug unbedingt erforderlich. Uns hat die Nähe zu Athen und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gefallen. Der Sandstrand Schinia nahe Marathon hat uns begeistert, da er nicht so überfüllt ist und die Bäume gut Schatten spenden. Als absoluten Geheimtipp empfehlen wir die Taverne Makedonia in Kapandriti, es ist ein sehr gutes Fischrestaurant mit fairen Preisen (die Besitzer sind ein nettes Pärchen und die Frau stammt aus Deutschland). Insgesamt haben wir uns in Kapandriti und im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt.

We (three adults) were here for one week. We received a very friendly welcome from our hosts and were shown the house. It was also very positive that we found fresh fruit, wine, and homemade delicacies. The hosts had even baked something for us. In contrast to previous vacation homes in Greece, the stable and fast internet connection was a positive feature. The house is large and spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped.The view from the terrace to the island Euboea is wonderful. The house has a very nice pool and a pretty garden. In the neighborhood there is a dear dog, which passes by on the property, but does not enter the area around the house. Altogether we felt very comfortable in this house.
