30A Monkgate is ideally located being just a two minute walk to the City Walls and Monk Bar leading in to York and all the restaurants, shops and historical sights on offer. The property provides spacious accommodation for four people set over three floors. Lounge, dining area and kitchen on first floor, double bedroom and twin bedroom with bathroom on second floor.
Secure, private off street parking is provided for 1 car. There is a Sainsbury's supermarket close by.

This is one of those "I could live here" places. Felt at home from the off. Which is even better, given the last minute personal issues we faced before setting off. Warm and comfy. It suited our needs for the 3 nights we were there. Ideally situated for shops, restaurants cafes etc. Big Supermarket was a short walk as well. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Note: We had no problems, but, the living areas are 2nd & 3rd floor. So you have to go down a level Everytime you go out. The ground floor is a large entrance, with lots of storage for cases, prams, wheel chair etc. there's a toilet and a TV sitting area. This level is colder than the living parts. But I bet in summer it's nice and cool to sit in. Maybe a couple of extra small chairs wouldn't go amiss.
Will definitely be coming again.

Ideal location just 2 minutes walk to the city. Off-road parking space and a supermarket nearby. Our 4th. stay at this property and will definitely be back!

Our second stay, we have visited York many times before and this is now our favourite property, ideally located just outside the city walls. Would definitely recommend!
