About this house rental
In the beautiful village center of Noordwijk Binnen, 5 minutes from the beach, you will find this characteristic, monumental Bollenschuur from 1909. The building was completely renovated in 2019 and converted into a luxury holiday home for families up 8 to 10 people.
With 4 attractive bedrooms, 3 marble bathrooms and a large, open living space, we offer families and quite groups of friends with children a wonderful stay. The holiday home is on the first and second floor of the bulb barn. The bedrooms with bathroom en-suite are on the second floor.
The living area is on the second (top) floor. There you can cook extensively in the spacious kitchen and have an attractive dinner. The large and comfortable seating area is a nice place to relax and offers children a separate corner to enjoy themselves. Through the large skylights you can have a drink and enjoy the sun. And from the grand view of the dunes, with Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin as a landmark. By car you are on the beach in 5 minutes, on foot in 15 to 20 minutes via a beautiful route.
The guests have the entire first and second floor to themselves. On the ground floor is the owner's office, who lives elsewhere. The holiday home and the office only share the entrance.
The bunk bed is built-in and 80 cm wide and 180 cm long and is therefore especially suitable for children. So 10 people can stay, as long as at least 2 of them are children.
Tourist tax is € 2.15 per person per night.
Pets please in consultation.
Given the location of our house and the respect for the neighbors, we only rent out to families, quiet groups of friends with children or other quiet groups. Our house is not suitable for parties and we do not rent to groups under the age of 35 in any case.
We follow government corona guidelines and make sure you can stay safe.

We stayed at Tulipa Noordwijk for 8 days with up to 8 people for a few days. It was the perfect place to explore Holland in a few different ways. Some of us went sightseeing to various cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht, while others rode bikes through the nearby dunes. Everyone was very comfortable and we had plenty of space overall. The bedrooms did not have a lot of space to put our luggage but the house overall had lots of space for the 8 of us and 2 family members who joined us for an afternoon birthday celebration. The host, John, was super friendly and cared a lot about our comfort and helped us with a few items that weren’t readily available.
A few items to note as you are planning your stay at Tulipa. These are not concerns just something to be aware of.
1. The location is great and grocery stores are in walking distance. Late at night parking in front of the house was a challenge, as street parking was full, but there is a parking lot close by that had space.
2. The beds were spacious and easily fit two adults. The only beds that were a bit smaller are the two bunk beds but shorter people can easily fit.
3. There is no A/C but opening the windows and using the provided fans provided enough cooling at the end of May. We can’t comment on how it would be during any hot days.
Communication with John was great and the hospitality was superb. We would return any time and can highly recommend it.

Peaceful, roomy, perfect for 8 adults, in a quiet but central part of a quiet but central beach town in the Netherlands. We loved the fact that is was less than a half hour to Schiphol/AMS Airport, and easy trip to Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft, The Hague and Rotterdam and in a beautiful town, (long) walking distance to the beach. The host John was super communicative and let us store our luggage there early. Easy walking distance to a great grocery, nice cafes, and "old town" Noordwijk. It is a two mile walk to the nearest rail station and a 2 kilometer walk to the beach. Sort of creaky stairs to the second story with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Third floor has full social area: sitting room, full kitchen, dining area, small washer, nice views of town. Loved it!

The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 5. It was cozy but enough room for all of us to have our own private time. The beds are incredibly comfortable and even the couches were soothing enough to nap on. The home has everything you need. The town is perfectly situated within walking distance to stores, the supermarket and the beach. Public bus stops were also just a short walk away. John was a wonderful host and very communicative. We would definitely return here for our next trip to the Netherlands.
