About this apartment rental
Our largest apartment (approx. 80 sqm) is on the 1st Floor of the Podere La Fornace. This apartment has been recently renovated by us and partly equipped with new furniture. The apartment has a special charm, with an open brick fireplace, open roof beams, spacious living area with lounge area, private balcony with beautiful views, upscale furnishings, tiled fitted kitchen, the bathroom z. T. equipped with white Carrara marble, four-poster bed, own garden area with shady pergola and large trees and much more ... The best thing is to look at the photos to get an impression ... In every respect, it is a holiday apartment that meets even the highest demands and is very popular with our regular guests.
Surrounded by a well-tended park (approx. 5000sqm) with old trees, which in turn is framed by 50,000sqm olive grove, is this picturesque, completely restored natural stone house from the 19th Century, in which there are three charming apartments (Primo, Secondo and Terzo) and a little away from the main house two picturesque individual houses, the Etrusco and the Casetta Olivera. All apartments have separate entrances and direct access from the living room to the romantic garden, their own outside seating, garden furniture and loungers, fly screens and fans. The oval pool 10 x 5 m is not missing, of course, surrounded by a Mediterranean palm garden. A large sand playground with climbing and rocking equipment is available. Other positive things: satellite TV, WiFi, washing machine, organic. Olive oil and wine (in-house production), bread service, our legendary Tuscan evening with 4-course menu on request, a Christmas tree is available in winter, dogs are welcome, massages from our physiotherapist once a week (by appointment).
We speak German, Italian, English.
How to get there: You come on the motorway from the north, past Pisa + Livorno, always in the direction of Rome-Grosseto. The motorway ends in Rosigniano Marittimo (toll booth). From there take the SS1 (expressway) towards Grosseto until the Gavorrano scalo exit. Please do not turn towards Gavorrano and Bagno di Gavorrano before! Now head towards Ravi. On country road (old Aurelia SS1) approx. Drive 7 km, then you will come to the Bivio Ravi town sign, shortly after there will be a roundabout, do not turn here to Ravi, which is on top of a mountain, but 1 km further straight towards Grosseto, here the 2nd on the right Turn off to Ravi. Then drive exactly 1300m on this small, rising road until a gravel road comes to the left. Please turn here, after about 50m you will see the entrance to La Fornace on the left. At last! Welcome.
To come to us there is also the possibility to fly, e.g. B. to Pisa or Rome with TUIfly, Ryanair, Easyjet etc. and to take a rental car in Pisa or Rome
Culture: There is so much for art and culture enthusiasts that a vacation is certainly not enough to have seen everything. Since we are right in the center of the ancient Etruscan culture, it is not far to excavations, ancient sites, e.g. B. Vetulonia, Populonia, Roselle, Vulci, Tarquinia etc. Of course, the dream cities of Massa Marrittima, Siena, Florence and your museums should not be forgotten. Even the beautiful city of Rome can be visited for a day trip from here. Those who indulge in sports and leisure activities will certainly get their money's worth here. In 15-20 minutes you are right on our beautiful coast with miles of wide sandy beaches, such as those found in Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, romantic bathing bays, picturesque small coastal towns, with a wide range of sports and a funky nightlife. Anyone who still wants to dine like 'God in Italy' and taste our excellent wine will find everything here, from the small trattorie to the gourmet temple, that makes a gourmet's heart beat faster.

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Urlaubswochen in der Toskana verbringen dürfen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und konnten somit unseren Urlaub direkt geniessen.
Großen Anteil daran haben das Podere mit seinen schönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnungen, der Pool und allem voran natürlich die Inhaber Bernice und Emiliano. Die beiden sind immer ansprechbar und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und tun das mit einer italienischen Herzlichkeit, die einfach toll ist.
Wir können das Podere La Fornace nur empfehlen. Die Region mit den vielen schönen Städten und Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber auch die Strände in der näheren Umgebung (ca. 20 Min. mit dem Auto). Dann das tolle Essen, der Wein (zu fairen Preisen).
Kurzum, die Möglichkeiten sind so vielseitig, dass wir mit Sicherheit wieder unseren Urlaub in dieser Gegend verbringen werden und wenn, dann bestimmt wieder bei Bernice und Emiliano (sofern wir schnell genug sind und noch ein Plätzchen bekommen :)

wir, eine fünfköpfige Familie hatten nach langem hin und her beschlossen, das erste Mal in die Toskana zu fahren und sind auf diesem Weg auf das Anwesen La Fornace gestossen. Unsere Erwartungen schwankten zwischen hoch und vielleicht ist es doch nicht so schön wie auf den Fotos...aber was wir dann erleben durften, war mehr als positiv.
Unser Apartment secondo im ersten Stock hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen...eine Mischung aus toskanischen, rustikalen Elementen und urgemütlichem englischem Landhausstil mit Laura Ashley Touch.
Die Betten sind eine Wucht und man schläft wie auf Wolken- das haben wir noch in keinem Urlaub erlebt.
Dazu eine profonde Sauberkeit, welche Ihresgleichen sucht.
Der Garten ist eine gepflegte Oase, aber trotzdem noch ursprünglich.
Dass der Pool eingezäunt war, hat uns das Leben sehr erleichtert, denn wir haben noch eine kleine Nichtschwimmerin in unserem Familienclan.
Emiliano der überaus liebenswürdige, fleissige Ehemann von Bernice begegnete uns oft in der Frühe, wenn ich meine ersten Runden allein im Pool drehte, und er den Pool reinigte, die Blumen goss und das Laub rechte...
Bernice, die dynamische,charmante,herzliche Seele des Ganzen erzählte uns viel über das Leben, die Kultur der Toskana-Maremma, alles höchst interessant...beide sind wunderbare Menschen und wir werden uns bestimmt wiedersehen...denn wie sagte Bernice beim Abschied: " Menschen, welche eine Zuneigung füreinander entwickeln, sehen sich immer zweimal im Leben"....

Leider waren die 2 Wochen wieder viel zu schnell vorbei,
aber wir kommen in 2012 ja wieder !!!
Nach unserer Rückkehr ins verregnete und viel zu kalte Deutschland möchten wir es natürlich nicht versäumen hier mal direkt unsere Begeisterung kundzutun.
Mit Bernice und Emiliano hatten wir die besten Gastgeber die man sich vorstellen kann, und neben einem wirklichen Traumurlaub auch wieder
schöne gemeinsame Stunden mit Euch beiden und weiteren sehr netten Menschen verlebt.
Das ganze Areal ist traumhaft schön gelegen und wunderbar gestaltet.
Alle Wohnungen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und sehr sauber - es fehlt hier wirklich an nichts.
Man spürt jeden einzelnen Tag, mit wie viel Engagement das Gastgeberpaar um einwandfreien Zustand von Gelände, Wohnungen und Pool - und nicht zuletzt um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht ist.
Dies kann man nur mit einem riesengroßen Kompliment versehen !!!
Der leckere Brötchenservice lässt einem auch die sonst übliche und eher fade schmeckende Backwarenwelt schnell vergessen.
Und dann natürlich die leckeren Weine, des großartige Weingelee zum Frühstück und Olivenöl bis zum Abwinken ... mmmmh
Tja - zum legendären toskanischen Abend können wir nur sagen:
squisito Alma - mille grazie ...
Wer das versäumt ist selbst schuld.

Bleibt so wie Ihr seid, wir vermissen Euch schon jetzt und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen im Juli 2012
