The continental breakfast was included in the price, room spacious and all you needed.
The bed was too soft for me but that is down to individual preference.

The accommodation was clean, I appreciated being able to have the heating on. The communication with the hosts was easy and clear check-in instructions were communicated in advance.
Convenient location, with easy access to nearby bus stops and short distance to the shops and the high street.
The breakfast room was really gorgeous.
Poor breakfast options and setup. The selection was very limited and almost entirely sweet, however only salted butter was provided, which did not pair well with the sweet condiments. Overall though, I would have appreciated more savoury options such as cheese, ham and vegetables (e.g. avocados). Guests were expected to refill items if they ran out, as well as clean and wipe down tables after use and return their dishes. This was not communicated in advance. It would have been helpful if this information, along with details of the breakfast menu had been included in the description. Overall, the price point felt too high for what was effectively a hostel-style setup breakfast.
The room I was given was in the basement with small beds and a poorly insulated window. I could feel a draft and hear outside noises even with the window fully closed. Lacked a sense of privacy and safety as the room was by the main road and people walking by could potentially see inside, if my roller blind was up. Poor soundproofing overall, I could hear from other rooms and the floor above.
