About this farm stay rental
We welcome you all year round for a simple and friendly stay at the "Le Lever du Jour" gîte. This old typical Vercors farm is located in the unspoiled village of Corrençon en Vercors, in the heart of the Vercors Regional Park and the Villard de Lans / Corrençon ski area.
Le Lever du Jour welcomes you all year round to take full advantage of the well-being provided by Corrençon-en-Vercors and its outdoor activities.
The cottage is located at the entrance of the village in a quiet and friendly hamlet, mainly composed of typical restored farms. We welcome the festivities in the gite, they should however be in harmony with this environment.
A large private parking lot is reserved for you. In winter, the Rambins ski area (ideal for children) is less than 10 minutes on foot and regular shuttles for the departure of the slopes are also accessible in front of the entrance to the gîte. Possible return on skis when the snow conditions allow !!
The maximum capacity is 21 beds (children included) which are distributed in 5 independent apartments, each equipped with bathroom and kitchenette.
In addition to the independent apartments, the gîte offers a large, fully equipped shared kitchen, as well as a 60 m² dining room to welcome your moments of conviviality. The surface of the cottage as a whole totals around 250m².
A secure barn allows you to store your skis, bikes, or other equipment. And little more, a large separate games room is equipped with table football.
In fine weather, you can take advantage of the 5,000 m² of meadow with swings, tables and garden furniture, and the furnished terrace, equipped with a barbecue.
We occasionally occupy a completely independent part of the cottage and Céline and Ludovic from the neighboring farm play an essential role in the management of the 'Sunrise of the Day'. This team will welcome you and guide you in your stay if you feel the need.
The apartments:
- Studios 1 and 2: studios-cabin of 30 m2 each for 4 people with 1 double bed (160x200) and 2 bunk beds (90x190)
- Studio 3: 1 2-room apartment of 30 m2 for 4 people with 1 double bed (140 x 200) and 2 bunk beds
- Studio 4: 1 studio of 25 m2 for 3 people with 1 double bed and 2 bunk beds (90x190)
- Studio 5: on the ground floor, 1 2-room apartment of 40 m2 for 6 people with 1 sofa bed, 1 double bed (140x200) and 2 bunk beds (90x190)
- Each studio has an equipped kitchen, a separate children's area and a shower room / toilet.
- To be more comfortable, you can also access "the small room". Located upstairs, it has a double bed (160x200) and a sink.
The large fitted kitchen:
When you rent the entire farm under free management, you have access to the large kitchen equipped to prepare your meals: cooking piano, 2 refrigerators, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and of course all catering equipment and household appliances for a successful mountain stay (4 raclette machines, toaster, coffee machines, ...).
Living room:
The old barn has been transformed into a large living room of 60 m2 and constitutes the heart of the gîte. It can accommodate all of the guests at the table. Equipped with an authentic wood stove and a sitting area, it awaits you for your long evenings and celebrations!
