About this house rental
Located in the center of Cassel, in a quiet area, close to shops, restaurants, the Flanders Museum, the Tourist Office, hiking and walking trails, the "Au Cœur de Cassel" gîte will be the ideal starting point. for your stay in Flanders and in the Hauts-de-France region.
With a capacity of 1 to 6 people, the Gîte is composed of:
On the ground floor, a living room with flat screen TV, DVD player, bluetooth speaker, board games, a 3 seater sofa, armchairs, coffee table, storage unit.
The dining room is equipped to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.
A kitchen equipped with coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, fridge with freezer, oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic hobs, utensils and kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery…
On the 1st floor, an independent bedroom of 11m² with a double bed of 140 × 190, bedside tables, chest of drawers and clothes rack. A second independent bedroom of 15m² with a 140 × 190 double bed, bedside tables, storage cupboard, wardrobe.
Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer ...
On the 2nd floor, a large independent bedroom of 35 m² with two single beds of 90 × 190, bedside tables, cupboards and clothes rack, a small living room with table and sofa. A baby bed can be added.
Sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets are included.
Ordinary cleaning is included.
Towels are not provided.
The cottage is equipped with WI-FI.
An outdoor room allows you to store bikes safely.
Parking around the Gîte is free.
Tourist brochures are available.

The property was very nice, well equipped with everything we needed. Jean-Louis called round just after we arrived and told us about the area and its bars and restaurants, which was very helpful. Cassel is a lovely village with 12 restaurants and bars, the cottage is in an ideal location to walk to them all. The views from some of the restaurants was fantastic, would highly recommend the cottage and Cassel.

The check-in was by the key box and as we were away much of the time we didn't meet the hosts. Everything was lovely and the location very central in Cassel, which is a nice small town we'd stayed in many times before. The cottage decoration and furniture is very French in style. Overall excellent but there are a couple of things to be aware of: 1. The spiral-style wooden stairway to 1st and second floors may not be suitable for some people. 2. We were able to park directly outside for free both days, but you might not be so lucky. In Cassel accommodation options are limited and I think this one is the best. It was also good value.
