About this chalet rental
Warm and elegant, this chalet on 2 levels combines natural materials in terracotta and wood and contemporary such as the suspended staircase in raw concrete. The combination of these materials has created a cozy, practical and functional atmosphere. The owner wanted to share with his hosts this haven of peace in a sublime region. On the 1st level the large main room, including the large central stove separates the room, with on one side the living room (2 leather club sofas + 1 club armchair), on the other the dining room with direct access to the terrace of 35 m² with breathtaking views of the Crescent Lake. Large enclosed land. The kitchen is open to the dining room and is equipped with a central chopping block, a large cooking piano and polished concrete worktops. Bedroom for 2 people (1 140x190 bed) and bathroom with Italian polished concrete shower and WC. The 2nd level is served by a passageway dominating the living room and 1 open bedroom with 1 160x200 bed, 1 bedroom with 1 140x190 bed and 1 bedroom with 2 90x190 beds. Possibility 2 extra beds in 90x190. 1 baby bed and many amenities available. End of stay cleaning, electricity, heating and linen included, free firewood. Bathroom (bathtub) white wood and waxed concrete. This cottage is located in the upper Morvan, on the shore of Lake Crescent and close to the Maison du Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan in St Brisson. Not far from its large lakes (Chaumeçon, Pannecière, Les Settons,) where you can practice all nautical and leisure activities, and its forests which offer many possibilities for hiking. Many visits to nearby sites such as Vézelay (basilica and gourmet restaurant), Avallon, Bazoches (Vauban castle) or Clamecy, the ancient city of wooden floats. Très beaux gîte avec vue magnifique sur le lac du Cresent . Gîte très bien équipé et confortable. Un seul bémol, le manque de pression dans la douche du bas. Bien dommage quand on peut profiter d'une belle douche à l'italienne avec effet pluie. Ce genre d'équipements n'a d'intérêt qu avec une pression adaptée....

Gezellig huis met een leuk terras en schitterend uitzicht. 1 grote en 2 kleinere slaapkamers die afgesloten kunnen worden met een deur en een ruim 2persoonsbed boven het eetgedeelte dat is afgescheiden met een gordijn. Goede keuken en prima eetgedeelte. De TV is gedateerd, waardoor er heen modernecapparatuur op kan worden aangesloten. Ruim overdekt terras met leuk schommelbank. Leuke wandelingen vanuit het huis. Al met al een hele rustige plek dichtbij de natuur.

Een fantastisch huis met een geweldig uitzicht. We verbleven hier met ons gezin (incl 3 pubers) een week en hebben genoten, zowel van de mooie omgeving als van het huis. Het is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor de boodschappen moet je wel even rijden (10 km).

Nice house very friendly and helpfull owner who we could always reach. Couch was a back killer and the beds were very small and poor. Kitchen very well equiped. But the area was outstanding!
