About this lodge
The Lodge by the Lake at Broxmouth Park is situated in one of the most picturesque yet exclusive locations on the East Coast of Scotland. It is just a stone's throw from the beach and is also adjacent to one of East Lothian's prestigious golf courses. Nestled at the edge of the woods, the Lodge by the Lake consists of a living area, breakfast bar with cooking facilities, leading into a contemporary bedroom with full en-suite bathroom. The lodge is tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. French doors open out onto the decking and fill the living area with light. This exclusive wooden lodge also comes with a brand new hot tub on the decking where you can relax with a bottle of bubbly and watch the swans go idling by, or maybe catch a glimpse of the deer in the distance. Perfect for hot summer evenings but just as enticing to watch a winter's dawn. The recently developed lodge has been styled to the highest standards, and provides the perfect holiday destination for a relaxing, luxurious break - ideal for a honeymoon too!

Overall beautiful surroundings our lodge was perfect, only thing not much around unless driving, tv never worked for more than 5mins at a time. Nowhere really opens on Tuesdays so very limited.

A fantastic place to stay, I traveled solo all thru Scotland for a few days prior and the hottub was a great way to unwind after driving. Close to Dunbar itself, a very nice and quiet town with a relaxing atmosphere. I would suggest arrival before dark but the property manager was very accurate with direction and even in the pitch black, it was navigable. Its beyond the event center past the parking lot for employees down its own trail, very removed from society or the wedding party if you are on a honeymoon. The stars are so beautiful with sights of the milkyway. I brought sunshine and cloudless nights tho, So I guess that isn't guaranteed. Would recommend for maybe up to 3 or 4 adults if the couch pulls out for as a bed, no wifi, but I don't think that was a bad thing unless you need to get work done, A small tree fort and boat are on the property, hard to see in the utter darkness, but the morning views were just as spectacular as the night.
