not enough seating (sofa space) for all guests. sofa had big lumps so was uncomfortable. tired looking eg broken bathroom door locks/ towel rails

The location is great with all the services needed within a two minute walk. The house is spacious and the bedrooms really are lovely. Private parking useful considering how busy the street parking is.
In terms of the house itself, there are multiple entrances to each bathroom from different bedrooms, as if they are shared ensuites! It was weird. There's also really not enough seating for groups of more than 3. We weren't provided with the code for the private parking until we specifically requested it, and there's no back door key for easy car access after that. The property is managed by a letting agent, not a private owner, and that shows in the little problems. Nobody had organised garden maintenance so it was too full of nettles and weeds to be useful. Nobody had organised a proper unplugging of the top shower - we were ankle deep in water each time. Nobody had cleaned up broken glass and old cigarettes from the garden, or a knuckle duster under the sofa. Nobody had noticed that there are only 2 forks in a house for 8 people or that there were several broken light bulbs. We received a lot of automated messages from the letting agent, including lots of terse block capital warnings, but when we actually needed to contact them about access to the parking, we got an out of office and another terse warning that non emergency questions would be chargeable!
