About this house rental
The house Buchfink (bungalow) is located in Dies, district of Gackenbach, in the middle of the Gelachtal valley, in the Westerwald. The surrounding area offers numerous excursions, hiking, cycling and motorcycling, swimming in the lake 4km away, canoeing on the Lahn, a visit to the Gackenbach wildlife and leisure park, shopping tour in The Style Outlet in Montabaur, wellness in the Emser Therme or a visit to Koblenz with its cozy old town, cable car, Deutsches Eck, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.
This is a small tranquil place in the middle of meadows, forests and the Gelbach.

You will spend your vacation in a quiet residential area.
Since it is a popular motorcycle region, it is not excluded to hear it during the day.
Our house was built in 1974 and offers 118 square meters of living space. It was completely renovated in 2019! The entire area is only available to our guests.
It consists of 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 bunk bed), a large living room with fireplace and a directly adjacent dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a high-quality bathroom with shower and toilet and a guest toilet.
Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be booked for a fee (€ 5 per set). Please specify when booking.
Parking spaces for 3 cars or for motorbikes are available on the property. There is a large lawn in front of the house with a terrace and barbecue facilities, as well as a small terrace behind the house to enjoy the evening sun in summer!
Restaurants can be found in the surrounding area.

When we arrived, the owner (Claudia) gave us a warm welcome. She is very nice and tries to make your stay as nice as possible. She speaks and writes English well.
After a tour of the spacious house, Claudia shared information about what to do in the area.
The location of the house is wonderful. It is located in a small village that is very quiet.
The house is well maintained and very clean.
During our stay, the outdoor temperature was between 26 °C and 32 °C. Inside the house, it stayed cool (around 22 °C).
We had a great time during our stay and very much enjoyed the facilities of the house (and location).

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Gelbachtal verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön und super auch für Selbstversorger ausgestattet. Auch wenn wir nur zu zweit waren, ist es auch für Familien sehr gut geeignet, da es sehr großzügig ist und mit 3 Schlafzimmern genügend Platz hat. Man kann von Dies schöne Ausflüge mit dem Rad (E-Bike) oder Wanderungen unternehmen. Montabaur, Limburg und Koblenz sind einen Abstecher wert. Die Tipps von Claudia waren auf jedenfall sehr hilfreich (z.B. die Wanderung zum Goethepunkt). Sie rundet den sehr guten Eindruck mit ihrer Fürsorge nochmals ab. Das Objekt ist für einen Urlaub im Westerwald sehr zu empfehlen. Nochmals vielen Dank!

We enjoyed staying here! The house is very clean, spacious and the environment is beautiful. Claudia is a very friendly host who makes you feel welcome. Everything you need is there. We would love to come back for a longer stay in the future.
