We came to the area for rock climbing in Meteora. Seeing that it was a busy tourist destination, we searched the area for somewhere quiet for a reasonable price. This place (only 15 minutes drive away) lived up to all our expectations. It is situated in the beautiful, hidden village of Agios Dimitrios, away from noisy roads and tourist spots. Our hosts were exceptionally kind. They brought us gifts of Easter celebration food, barbecued lamb, painted eggs and home made traditional Greek cake. There is heating and air con in the spacious room which is completely self contained and private. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony for meals and relaxing. There is a nice Greek taverna in the beautiful village square (triangle) 3 mins walk away run by a very nice family. If you are looking for peace and quiet with views of local rock formations and distant (snow-capped when we were there) mountains, this is the place to stay. Het was schoon. De verhuurster is erg aardig! Ze gaf op een ochtend zelfs nog gekookte eieren en brood. De locatie is geweldig, erg rustig en leuk restaurantje om te eten in het dorpje.
De douche is erg klein en het douchegordijn plakt tegen je aan.

The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. It is in a small village with no amenities but with a very good taverna. Perfect parking spot underneath the house.
