Sunnyside Barn is a beautifully converted barn that accommodates six guests, featuring oak doors and slate window sills. It is conveniently situated in the picturesque Hamlet of Penstraze, offering easy access to the stunning beaches, eateries, and water sports activities available in this wonderful region of Cornwall.
With an open-plan layout on the ground floor, the sitting area showcases a 50-inch Smart television and is accompanied by a cosy wood-burning stove. The contemporary kitchen is furnished with a breakfast bar and island, and it comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, double oven, and hob. Accommodating up to six guests with ease, the dining space creates an ideal social environment, well-suited for families and larger gatherings. The ground floor also houses two out of the three bedrooms - a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, that can be converted into a super-king bed on request. Both bedrooms conveniently offer their own en-suite shower rooms. The ground floor is rounded off by a utility room, fully equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, perfect for managing sandy beach attire during your holiday.
Situated on the first floor, the impressive master suite features a super-king size bed and a spacious, contemporary en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with both a bathtub and a shower, complete with a Bluetooth-connected mirror.
The enclosed patio garden can be accessed through the French door off the sitting room. This outdoor space offers garden furniture and a barbecue for your enjoyment, along with a very useful surf store where you are welcome to store your surfboards, bicycles and other beach essentials.

One of the best properties we've stayed in. Excellent facilities, good WiFi, exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. All bedrooms had TVs and lounge TV had apps to access netflix and amazon. Ross (the owner) checked everything was fine when we arrived but still afforded us privacy throughout our stay. The only downside was the weather - a little cloudy and dull on a few days. Also, due to covid restrictions still, it was difficult to eat in restaurants without planning it.

Beautiful cottage, though some instructions for the heating would have been a huge assistance. Also the information book totally lacked any good places to eat

The barn is finished to a high standard and very comfortable! Great to have 3 en-suite rooms, all a good size with smart TVs! Location is great for exploring Cornwall, and nearest beach is around 10 minute drive away. Overall we had a great stay in this lovely accommodation.
Only negative is the lane to access the property is very narrow and bumpy! It was very overgrown and difficult to get our wide car down without scratching it. Also would like to add that the photo showing the grass area is a little misleading. This is actually not part of this property and the outside area for this property is a gravel driveway and the patio area shown in the other photos.
