About this house rental
Independent house with large stone paved veranda, charcoal grill and oven, deck chairs and table. Main bedroom with king bed, closet, window and air conditioning, second bedroom with 2 single beds window, closet and air conditioning. Child's bed can be provided. WC with bath and shower. Living room with comfy couch, satellite TV and full kitchen and dining area with table and chairs. Dishwasher and washing machine for clothes. Private parking, large porch (20 m²). Situated above an olive grove just outside Mochlos village. Very peaceful, great views of sea and countryside. Pebble beach in village and other beaches within a short drive.
Vaia Villa’s houses and apartments are surrounded with flowers, herbs, and natural beauty, and located in a peaceful, clean area with private parking. With a coffee or beer on the shaded front porches, you will enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset, the beautiful reds and purples coloring the cliffs on the opposite side of the bay. Fresh air and sea breezes, and perhaps a walk in the hills, will awaken your appetite for a dinner of fresh fish and locally grown vegetables at one of the village tavernas. Several beaches, some pebble and some sand, offer places to swim or relax near the village. Special celebrations take place in the village at Easter time and you are welcome to join in. The people are very friendly and the village offers much hospitality all year round. In the fall, olives and grapes are harvested and oil and raki (the local spirit) is made.

Maison très agréable qui a tout le confort nécessaire. Vue magnifique. Ménage et changement des draps et serviettes très régulièrement.
Le seul bémol les toilettes sont dans la salle de bain .
Le village de Mochlos est à côté et à de très bons restaurants et cafés.
La propriétaire est sympathique

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Blicks auf Meer und das wunderschöne Mochlos. Alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Die Vermieterin stammt aus Großbritannien und spricht fließend englisch.
Wir hatten die Villa Vaia 5. Sie befindet sich an einem Hang. Der Ausblick auf das Meer, Küste und Landschaft ist sehr schön.
Nicht ganz so toll ist, dass die Beschreibung sich auf alle Ferienhäuser der Vermieterin bezieht. Die abgebildeten Fotos sind ein Mix von allen Wohnungen. Die Bildunterschriften verheimlichen zwar nicht, welche Villa abgebildet ist, aber man sollte konkret darauf achten. Wir hatten nicht ganz darauf geachtet, hatten viele schöne Bilder gesehen und waren dann etwas überrascht...
Nichts destotrotz war das Ferienhaus in Ordnung. Mit seinen ca. 50..55m² (mit der Größe bin ich mir jetzt nicht sicher) nicht allzu groß, aber für 3 bis 4 Personen absolut ausreichend.
Wohnzimmer und Küche sind ein Raum und wirken auf dem Foto subjektiv größer als tatsächlich, aber trotzdem ausreichend. In der Küche waren auch alle wichtigen Geräte - Backofen, Herd (von 4 Kochfeldern funktionierten 3), Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Kühlschrank mit Kühlfach und Geschirrspülmaschine.
Gewöhnungsbedürftig war allerdings die Position des Geschirrspülers - direkt an einem an der Arbeitsplatte in den Raum ragenden kleinen Tisch mit 2 Barhockern, so dass man sich beim Befüllen und Entleeren bücken und teilweise verrenken musste.
Gut fanden wir, dass es im Schrank eine Grundausstattung an Salz und Gewürzen gab.
Weniger gut, aber durchaus händelbar, waren kleine Ameisen auf der Küchenarbeitszeile. Es galt also diese immer sauber zu halten. Schneidebrett und Olivenöl und ähnliches konnten wir aufhängen und somit in Sicherheit bringen.
In beiden Schlafzimmern waren Klimaanlagen. An allen Fenstern waren Fliegengitter und Fensterläden.
Man kann am Haus parken.
Wir hatten immer W-LAN.
Wer es braucht, ein kleines TV-Gerät mit Satellitenempfang war auch vorhanden. Allerdings auf DEUTSCH nur ZDF und Deutsche Welle...
Zu Beginn waren wir etwas irritiert, weil es nicht ganz unseren Vorstellung im Vorfeld entsprach. Aber wir haben den Urlaub im Ferienhaus trotzdem sehr genießen können.
