The check-in process was very smooth, all went according to plan and was very straightforward.Kitchen facilities were great, good range of cutlery and crockery (only thing missing for us was a colander!). Wi-Fi was constant and satisfactory throughout the apartment. Transport access - we did not use a car, so had no need for parking etc and cannot comment on this, but the apartment was only a short walk from the train station, and the lift from below the old town to the top was within a two minute walk from the apartment. It was really handy.We really enjoyed this holiday - great views from the apartment, enough space for us all to relax during the hottest parts of the day. All the furniture was comfortable, including the beds. There was a more than adequate utility area which was really a bonus, we used it constantly. It was great to have a good washing machine. The host had provided a welcoming bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. There was a good kettle, and a good coffee machine, with some coffee pods provided. The apartment was clean throughout, and was easy to maintain. All refuse bags were clearly labelled, so recycling was easy. The general location was really great, and as it was extremely hot when we were there, the air-conditioning was amazing. It worked constantly, and was very quiet, and effective. Lovely views from the balcony areas over the medieval street and cathedral piazza below. Recommend highly and would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful apartment in a lively and historic old town. We especially liked the roof deck. It looked as nice as in the pictures. Comfy beds, everything worked. Good restaurants and shops nearby, especially up the road a bit for a view of the harbor. There are a LOT of stairs from the train station to the apartment door. I don't think it's possible for older folks or people with large bags to go on foot from the train station. Thanks for a great stay at a good value.

The apartment is perfectly located in Ventimiglia old town, a short distance from bus stops and about a 20 minute walk from the train station.
The stairs up to the apt in the 600 yr old building are challenging for anyone with limited mobility, but awesome balcony views make up for the climb.
The unit itself was clean and comfortable but the common stairs and hallway leading to it were filthy - visible litter remained the whole 12 days we stayed.
The unit contained everything we needed but could use some updating or sprucing up.
We had an issue with hot water, which was tended to by the owner, but he was tardy in responding.
Regardless, we would still recommend this property to someone looking to submerse themselves in small Italian village culture.

The only negative thing I have to say is I wish I knew how many steps to get to the property and also the church bells that went off every 15 mins!!!!
