"LA TORRE" APARTMENT.
THE TOWER is located on the first floor of the main building of the MANOR: it owes its name to the watchtower that was originally used for the medieval fort and which today is instead only an architectural element of the external fortification walls.
The external part of the old tower is still clearly visible both from the kitchen window of the apartment and from the wall boundary and from the inside or in the living room area where you can well see the ancient support capital of the tower that 'era was an integral part of the fort and the medieval walls which are still present in the master bedroom.
LA TORRE apartment is divided into KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, BATHROOM and DOUBLE ROOM. The rustic Tuscan masonry kitchen consists of a grit sink, a large support surface and an induction hob: the refrigerator and the dishwasher are located in the wooden built-in kitchen where you will also find pots, microwave, kettle, toaster and everything you need to prepare a beautiful Tuscan dinner! The beautiful period showcase masters the kitchen which overlooks the surrounding countryside with a picturesque window.
THE BATHROOM is nestled under the medieval arch and is equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet and the original stone sink on a vintage sewing machine.
THE LIVING ROOM is extremely suggestive given the high ceiling characterized by chestnut beams and terracotta bricks: the bright window instead overlooks the courtyard of the MANOR. The large leather sofa, comfortable to enjoy the TV corner, becomes a king sofa bed if necessary to use the living room as a possible second bedroom: the comfortable size of the sofa bed makes it perfect for resting both adults and children . The living room is embellished with old prints and a centenary cupboard where, for centuries, bread was put to rest and which is a typical element of rustic Tuscan houses.
The DOUBLE ROOM is a location of extraordinary beauty: the large canopy bed masters the room directly obtained in the exposed stone fortification walls: you can notice the overlapping of different types of stone to confirm the construction of the fortification walls of Vicopisano in several historical periods: the first layer dates back to the first Roman settlement.
The play of light and shadow of the wrought iron lamps create a magical and evocative environment that envelops its guests taking them back in time: sleeping here is truly a unique experience, indescribable in words! A period wardrobe of great value embellishes the environment together with a characteristic period trunk and sink under a ceiling of exceptional beauty, characterized by a cross of ancient chestnut beams

Excellent accomodation with private and communal kitchens enabling a variety of cooking and eating experiences. Everything immaculately clean - pool iand sun lounger terrace includes charging points for your phone - indicative of the thought. and care expended on this venture - fabulous. Other guests from holland, belgium and Uk a pleasure to share breakfast on the terrace with, and swap local tourist must see tips!

My wife and I loved the apartment and the communication from Camilla and Roberta was fantastic. They were so kind and helpful at all times.
The apartment is situated within a thoughtfully and sensitively restored medieval property in a very central location and within a 30 minute drive to Pisa and Lucca.
We had access to a fantastic pool and relaxing area that we used every day to sunbathe on our allocated sunbeds, table and chairs. The sunbeds even had USB charging points.
The people in the other 4 apartments were all lovely and we all got to know each other and spent time together in the poolside area and in the shared kitchen (you also have your private kitchen too).
The building is stunning and I noticed that many passers-by also stopped to take a look at the building.
I would advise using a car so you can take day trips to vineyards, historic areas like San Gimignano or Siena.
Car parking is free of charge too. There are restaurants, a bakery, a few small shops, and well kept streets to walk through in Vicopisano and access to buses that pass through the town.
The air conditioning works great too!
There were no negatives for us and I hope you also enjoy your stay here.
