My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The rental is a small house behind the main house, with a patio, a nice pool, and a pétanque (bocce ball) court. The horses in the yard and Django the dog were a big hit with the kids. Sleeping arrangements were nice, with our older daughter on the full-size pullout couch and our younger daughter on a smaller twin-size couch (with adorable bunny rabbit linens). The AC unit is in the main part of the house, but with the door open to the bedroom it was cool enough to sleep comfortably. Highly recommended!

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich auf einem kleinen sehr tierfreundlichen Hof abseits des touristischen Trubels. In ca. 40min ist man am Strand, wo wir auch mit unserem Hund waren. Außerhalb der Saison herrlich.
Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Es hilft sehr, wenn man Französisch spricht, der Check-in steht aber auch auf Englisch zur Verfügung.
Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entspannt. Den furchtbar süßen und äußerst verträglichen Hofhund hätten wir am liebsten direkt mitgenommen.

Bellegarde ist zentral gelegen für Ausflüge, viele Ziele sind innerhalb von ca. 45 Minuten Fahrtzeit gut zu erreichen. Den Besitzer haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt, es erfolgte keine Übergabe, der Check-in und Check-out mittels Schlüsselkasten hat gut funktioniert.
Allerdings konnten wir die Außenanlage nicht nutzen, da werktags die nahegelegene Schwimmbadfabrik produziert hat. Die Lösungsmittel haben stark gerochen und wir hatten zeitweise Nasenbluten hiervon. Abends waren die Mücken unterwegs, so dass wir letztendlich die Unterkunft nur zum Schlafen und Essen benutzt haben. Auf den Pool haben wir verzichtet, da er uns zu veralgt war. Besser eigene Handtücher (1 Handtuch pro Person für 13 Nächte) und Bettwäsche mitbringen (1 Bett-Tuch für 2 Personen) wenn man einen höheren Bedarf hat. Hunde sollte man mögen, Django ist ein wirklich netter Hund, sucht viel Kontakt da er bei unserem Aufenthalt teilweise tagelang alleine war und die Katze nicht wirklich mit ihm spielen wollte. Die Personen, die im Nachbarhaus zum Teil anwesend waren, sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine Kommunikation auf Englisch ist recht schwierig, daher sollte man französisch halberlei sprechen oder aber google-translate nutzen.
