the neighbourhood was very nice and picturesque.
the view from the bedroom was unique.
very calm and the house was charming and calm for the night.
Also the gentlemen was very flexible and quite helpful.
for the parking it was very complicated to find the key and the parking is quite far from the location.

C’est la troisième fois que nous allions dans cet appartement et il convient à notre groupe familial de trois personnes.
Mon fils de 40 ans qui dort dans le canapé à l’étage Salon/Cuisine.
Et mon Mari et moi-même qui dormons dans le lit double à l’Etage de la Chambre et de la Salle d’Eau.
Cet appartement est très proche du Centre ville et c’est idéal pour visiter ou se faire un bon Restaurant.
Le combiné Plaque de Cuisson/Four/Lave-Vaisselle est idéal pour un encombrement réduit.
Pas de remarque bloquante ; peut-être quelques couverts supplémentaires mais c’est un détail souvent rencontré dans les appartements équipés et nous avons l’habitude de prendre avec nous une petite caisse en plastique avec des couverts et de la vaisselle supplémentaire quand il manque par exemple des bols parce les plus répandues sont des tasses ou mugs.

Peaceful and charming location on the southern edge of the old town, with pleasant river view towards the major city church of S. Pierre (with a more distant view of the top of the cathedral spires from the upper floor bedroom).
The accommodation was even more spacious than I expected - it was more like a cottage on three floors than a simple apartment. There was a ground floor vestibule, with an open plan kitchen + sitting room on the first floor, and bedroom + bathroom on the top floor.
The whole place had a very homely feel, enhanced by some eye-catching pictures and furniture (I loved the curvaceous tables and stools!)
Bathroom had a window (and hence natural light), and it also possessed a bathtub, which is always an important plus point for me.
Very comfortable bed.
Kitchen equipment all worked well, including the microwave.
Efficient central heating in all rooms (this really proved its worth, as my stay coincided with an early January cold snap!).
Good selection of 'arty' books on Chartres, maps, journals etc were available within the main rooms for visitors to read and browse through.
Prompt and efficient communications from host, with very clear check-in instructions. Autrimo was extremely kind in letting me stay on in the property well beyond my checkout time on the final day, because I was not departing from Chartres until the early evening.
All in all, my 4-day stay in this property was exceptionally good value for money.
A few more resident items in the kitchen would have been helpful (eg a roll of paper kitchen towel, pair of scissors in the cutlery drawer, a reserve supply of teabags and instant coffee).
In the bedroom, it would have been useful to have had access to a blanket as well as a duvet.
One of the bedside lamps was impossible to use because there was no wall socket close enough to plug it in (this could easily have been remedied with an extension lead and a plug adaptor).
The bathtub was shorter than I was expecting (it was too short to sit in with legs outstretched).
