About this apartment rental
Elegant apartment of about 90 square meters is located on the third floor of a period building with a lift (not suitable for the disabled). We are in the heart of Testaccio, famous for its traditional atmosphere, for its theaters and for its young and artistic spirit.
Internally, the apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, a living room with a relaxation corner and a double sofa bed and a kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, hob, dishwasher, oven, kettle, plates, glasses, cutlery and mocha.
Bathroom with shower and bidet.
The accommodation is equipped with every comfort, including: WiFi unlimited, air conditioning (3 split - in the bedrooms and in the living room), fan (ceiling in the living room), TV, central heating, washing machine, iron and ironing board ironing board, clothesline and hairdryer.
Guest access
The whole house is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay.
Other things to highlight
At the time of check-in we will need to record the data of each guest as required by Italian law and therefore will be required to show a valid document.
Upon arrival, payment of the tourist tax of € 3.50 per person per night will be requested, as requested by the Municipality of Rome.
Please note that late check-ins must be agreed directly with the property and require a supplement as follows:
- 21.00 - 24. 00: € 30.00; 24:00 - 01.00: € 40.00. Check-in is not possible after 01.00.
Our check-out unfortunately must take place before 10:00, but don't despair! We have started a partnership with BAGBNB, a portal where you can find all the luggage stores in the city. Communication leading up to our stay was clear, but failed after checking in. They met us at 1:30pm to drop off luggage and return for the arrival time of 2pm. . When we returned, the cleaner stayed until 3:30 just sitting in one of the rooms playing on his phone and said he was waiting on the linens. So, we sat in the entry room for 90 minutes as we were still in our travel clothes and too hot to explore outside in long pants. At this point we lost our desire to power through our travel exhaustion and canceled our 5pm walking tour.
We understand that rooms might take longer to clean, but there was zero communication on what was going on. There wasn’t even any toilet paper in the bathroom to use the restroom.
The shower drain didn’t work because so much hair was left in it. While the apartment is cute and plenty large enough, it is extremely low on supplies. I understand rentals ran by large rental companies tend to provide minimal supplies, but this was ridiculous. For a family of 4 staying 4 nights, they provided 2 of the smallest rolls of toilet paper you’ve ever seen. The kitchen had one old sponge that looked like it had been used for months and a couple tablespoons of dish soap that had clearly been watered down. One dishwasher pod was pre placed in the dishwasher. No kitchen towel or paper towels so I used a bathroom hand towel.
Coffee maker and teapot were broken. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this rental.
