About this farm stay rental
The Maierhof was built around 1687 in the beautiful Bernau high valley. After successful renovation in accordance with the monument protection authority, it now offers a luxury-class holiday apartment in the most beautiful high valley in the southern Black Forest.
In the spring, summer or autumn, the area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking or cycling. In winter you can actively relax on snowshoes, skis or cross-country skiing. Or you can simply enjoy the ambience of this spacious holiday home just to relax.
You will simply feel comfortable here.
The apartment offers plenty of space and comfort for up to 6 people and is also ideal for families with children.
The farm is located in the Kaiserhaus district with a perfect view of the Bernau high valley to the south.
The historical "parlor" with a tiled stove over 200 years old invites you to a cozy get-together. The tiled stove will be fired for you on request.
The kitchen is modernly equipped (modern electric cooker with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine and much more). The original charm of the smoke kitchen typical of these houses has been preserved, which can be seen from the blackened bars. So you like to spend time cooking together.
From the kitchen you can also access the south-facing balcony to experience the great view of the Bernau valley.
The apartment offers 2 sleeping rooms on the upper floor for 2 people each with windows to the east and original beds, which have been refurbished to today's dimensions and modern comfort. The rooms also contain historical wardrobes that were common for these farmhouses.
Another bedroom for 2 people is on the upper floor. There is the possibility to add extra beds on request (children's beds and chairs are also available on request).
The apartment offers 2 modern shower rooms (one per floor) with a comfortable bathtub in the wooden room and a modern rain shower with underfloor heating in the ground floor bathroom. A washing machine and dryer are also available.
In the living room there is a reading corner with a view of the valley or the old crib. In addition, you can be entertained by the 5.0 multimedia system with satellite TV, 55 '' OLED screen and Blu-ray player and there is plenty of space for playing for young and old. Of course, there is a WiFi network available.
The large property also offers a sheltered grill hut with a wonderful view of the valley, which you can use for barbecues, for meals together or just to relax.

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe renoviert und es fehlt an rein gar nichts. Leben wie vor 200 Jahren mit dem heutigen Standard. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber gut erreichbar. Einzig, das Haus ist hellhörig, aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort ist sehr gut und unkompliziert. Kurz: 100% Empfehlung.

Ein Traum. Ein historisches Bauernhaus mit knarzenden Böden, antiken Möbeln, Kachelofen . Geschichte pur. Jeden Tag etwas neues entdeckt. Die Ausstattung ist der Kracher, es gibt nichts was es nicht gibt. Bäder wie man sie nicht zuhause hat, ein Entertainmentcenter, ein Küche für Profiköche und und und. Dazu die traumhaften Ausblicke auf das Bernauer Tal. Unkomplizierter Check In und Out dank Fr. Klein. Der Urlaub ging viel zu schnell vorbei, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit einer wirklich guten Ausstattung. Auch an Tagen mit schlechten Wetter ist man hier gut aufgehoben, wie wir leider testen mussten. Der alte Hof ist liebevoll renoviert und innen modern ausgestattet. Spannend war der Vergleich mit dem alten Hof im ortsansässigen Museum Resenhof.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, die die historische Bausubstanz und einen angenehmen Komfort sehr gelungen kombiniert. Großzügige Aufenthalts- und Wohnbereiche sowie eine große und bestens ausgestattete Küche.
