Shieling Beag is a lovely studio apartment with a very nice layout and design. Very clean and comfortable. The little kitchen was just right and the tea and biscuits were a nice welcome.
There was nothing not to like.

It was in a lovely location, just on the edge of Banchory town centre. Well appointed gardens and nice compact accommodation. The host, Dr Linda, was readily available for any queries/needs as she and her husband live in the same property, which is nicely split so you get total privacy. Ideally suited for a couple, the bed was lovely and comfortable, lovely and clean and suited our needs. From town there is a bus service that takes you to other towns and sights such as Balmoral, Aboyne and Braemar. In Braemar I would recommend “The Flying Stag” lovely food at reasonable prices.
The property was in good order, but going forward perhaps a slightly larger TV would be of benefit and a more powerful hairdryer !!!. It is great to use as a base and to have breakfast or snacks rather than full blown catering experience.

Very comfortable bed. Well equipped. Nice views. Good location for walking to town centre.
Parking was difficult on the drive of the property without blocking in the owners two cars. Felt uncomfortable hearing the owners just the other side of a thin door by the bed.

Lovely little apartment. Comfy bed. Good Shower. Very handy with the street. Quiet at night. Very clean. Well equipped. A lovely garden to sit at the front where we met the owner's friendly dog.
Not easy to find the location. A little sign with the name of the apartment would have been handy. No oven only a microwave. Would need a tidy up outside.
