About this bed and breakfast
Welcome to our thoughtfully designed 220 sqft East Austin loft — a cozy, stylish space perfect for two, but able to sleep up to four comfortably. Tucked just 15 feet behind the main house (each with its own private entrance), this standalone unit gives you both privacy and unbeatable walkability in one of Austin’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
Please note: the loft is accessed via an outdoor staircase, and inside the unit there’s also a sleeping loft (yes — a loft within a loft!) that’s accessible by ladder. We like to clarify that in advance, since the double-loft setup can be a little confusing at first. Also, while you’ll have your own space, the front house may be occupied by other guests. That said, we enforce quiet hours between 9PM and 9AM to keep things peaceful for everyone.
Bed Configuration
We offer three memory foam beds that comfortably sleep up to 4 guests:
- Twin daybed (sleeps 1)
- Twin trundle (rolls out from under the daybed)
- Queen mattress in the loft (accessible by ladder)
The space is thoughtfully laid out with a compact kitchenette featuring quartz countertops, a portable induction cooktop, microwave, mini-fridge, and a Fellow Aiden automated pour-over machine — giving you barista-level coffee at the push of a button. A 50" swiveling 4K smart TV includes Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN for easy streaming from anywhere in the room.
The bathroom is stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup-removal cloths, a hair dryer, and a steamer or iron to help keep your wardrobe fresh. You'll also find cards, games, and a QR code linking to our personalized local recs — no need to waste time scrolling through generic guides.
Location-wise, you're in the heart of East Austin — walkable to top spots like Franklin BBQ, Canje, Intero, Scoot Inn, White Horse, Hotel Vegas, and more. Whole Foods and Target are just blocks away, and the Saltillo Metro Station is nearby for easy access to Q2 Stadium. The Austin Convention Center is a quick 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk.
While the loft is cooled with a dedicated air duct from our AC unit and extra fans, please note that the sleeping loft area can get warmer than the main floor — especially on Austin’s 90°+ summer days. We do everything we can to keep it comfortable, but heat does rise, so it’s something to consider if you’re sensitive to warmer sleeping conditions.
We’re a small, hands-on team (not a big management company), so you’ll have direct, responsive communication throughout your stay — whether you need a flexible check-in or a great last-minute taco spot.
Need more space? Ask about booking the main house or neighboring units — we can host up to 38 guests total.
No smoking or parties. Respect for the neighborhood is key — if we receive a complaint, we’ll issue one warning before applying a fee.

Great location, within walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. Property was well kept and clean. Edwin and Mindy were extremely responsive and accommodating to ours needs. Would love to get a larger group together to stay again in the main house!.

This was a clean place to stay for a few nights. It is walking distance to many east Austin spots. Rainey street is not too far away. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is nestled connected to other rentals and our loft was behind the main house. Cutest shared courtyard and the location was great for all things East third. It is next to a scrap metal facility which caused some annoying sounds every morning between 7am and 8.
The loft is up some stairs. The WiFi worked but was slow, furniture was a little beaten up & the ac worked okay at night but got a little hot during the day. For two friends it was great but any more than that it’s a little small.
Things that were annoying but didn’t dampen our stay: battery for raising the main shade behind couch didn’t work causing a lack of light at times, no caffeinated coffee, the Roku Tv remote has this odd setting where when pressed once the cursor moves 2 places instead of one and this last one was just me not thinking but there isn’t an oven. There is a portable induction burner you can plug in but we purchased salmon bakes from HEB and returned to realize no oven, just non-convection microwave.
Overall though we were very satisfied! Every morning we drank our coffee in the courtyard and loved life.

The property itself was clean, nice, and secure. It is small but cozy. They made use of all the space. The neighborhood was questionable, which made walking not an option. I thought we would be next to a target; as I saw in the pics, this was not so. Overall, it was a decent stay.
