Our newly remodeled farmhouse is located just above Itter. Enjoy the magnificent view of our mountains and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Very sunny and quiet location! Ideal starting point for hikes on the Hohe Salve. Our apartments are very cozy - all with balcony, satellite TV, lawn, children's playground, barbecue. In the newly built garden house you can end the day with a glass of wine. Farm animals: calves, pygmy goats, chickens, rabbits

Good value for the $! Reasonable rates for a great experience, very clean, comfortable beds, galley kitchen with an oven to prepare meals and parking on site. They brought us farm fresh brown eggs each night (requested) for breakfast the next morning. The lady of the house, Margritte was challenged with us only speaking English, but she tried hard and we made it work! Her older daughter Kaet spoke English pretty well. The road going up to the farm is quite steep and narrow, but not unusual for mountain areas. When two vehicles met, one would have to back up to a wider spot or driveway. The road plowing/salting was great! The night it snowed, they came through twice before 8:30 am, we had a two wheel drive auto and it was just fine. There are two grocery stores in Hofgarten, they are closed on Sundays and weekday evenings after 7. Had a nice evening meal at the Tirolhof restaurant in Hofgarten, with great food and service! Skiing the Skiwelt area provided a wide variety of terrain for the week we where there. We enjoyed the Scheffau area the most. You will enjoy your stay here, these are kind, sincere and hard working folks!
