Delightful cottage - thoughtfully designed high quality barn conversion. All home comforts with thoughtful touches - fresh milk & eggs, tea, coffee, etc. Lovely and clean. Country walks from the door whilst still being less than 15mins to central Durham. We will return.

The property was so charming! It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and very comfortable. Everything was done to a high standard. A great location from which to explore the Durham country side and the beautiful view right outside our door. Not to mention the cute sheep, chickens, and horses.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation. Bedrooms on ground floor so no need to hike luggage upstairs. Kitchen very well equipped, and fresh eggs from the resident chickens a lovely bonus. Parking very easy on gravel turn-in - plenty of room. Lovely views from both main bedroom and living space upstairs. Really is a well thought out conversion. Very clean throughout and lots of useful local information, walk books, history etc. As we were visiting our son in Durham, we didn't get to make the most of the immediate location, but would definitely like to visit again to rectify this!
