Direct communication with hosts was good and helpful. Check in was easy and uncomplicated. Location was in a beautiful residential neighborhood, with a view overlooking the yard and plenty of natural light. Apartment included all necessities such as dishware, stove with oven, a good-sized fridge and freezer, clothes washer, and generously sized shower with great heat and water pressure. Seating was very comfortable and flat was tastefully decorated with a nature and animals theme.
Flat was an easy 3-5 minute walk to town, groceries, bus stop, and nature trails. The balcony seating was excellent for sunny days. The location was wonderfully quiet except for the occasional sound of neighbors entering and exiting the building. Mattresses were firm and foam-strip pillow was large and generously filled. Temperature in the room was adjustable but also automated at a comfortable level.
Some have mentioned feeling exposed being on street level, but the balcony is slightly elevated and passerby would not easily see in, particularly with the surrounding yard.
The German management company, Travanto, was unresponsive to communications despite cancellation and date change deadlines and left me concerned about what I'd committed to, however the owners got in touch closer to check-in and were great.
The mattresses are on a frame so can't be shoved together to make a full size bed, but were otherwise comfortable.

Die Wohnung ist super gelegen und war sehr sauber. Sie ist sehr cool eingerichtet - tolles Retro-Design und es war wirklich alles da, was man so zum Leben (und kochen) brauchte.
Die Matratze hätte etwas fester sein können - aber das ist ja totale Geschmackssache.

Schöne großzügige Wohnung in ruhiger Wohngegend. Wohn/Schlafzimmer hell und modern eingerichtet, Küche und Badezimmer sehr Retro, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Alles sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Wohnung gut warm, auch ohne laufender Heizung. Eigener Parkplatz direkt am Haus
nur was man in der Beschreibung aber schon sehen kann: nirgends Gardinen, nur Aussenrollos und das im Erdgeschoss zur Straßenseite. Entweder muss man bei Dämmerung schon die Rollos zumachen, oder man fühlt sich wie auf dem Präsentierteller.

Zeer behulpzame gastheer (wiens fles Rottkäppchen ons zeer bevallen is :-)). Appartement ligt dicht bij centrum Bad Sachsa en Bad Sachsa ligt dan weer op korte rij-afstand van veel mooie bestemmingen in de Harz.
