The communication with the owner is great, he answered immediately and was very nice. Also the lady who lived next door was very nice and willingly showed us the whole apartment. There was a wonderful surprise in the fridge, refreshments were waiting for us, coffee, tea, cookies and bread were also prepared, which is welcome for anyone who arrives after a long journey with two teenagers. The apartment has a great location with an amazing view. The apartment was beautiful, clean and smelled nice, fully equipped with kitchen appliances. Parking is possible in the yard. Everything was perfect.

Location and view of rocks. Kastraki much nicer than Kalambaka as it's more scenic, quieter, less hectic. Owner is friendly and helpful. Lots of complimentary breakfast foods and drinks. Very large apartment. Well equipped kitchen. WiFi worked well.
Bed was uncomfortable because it had a very thin hard mattress. I ended up moving to the sofa on the second night. The bathroom is incredibly small, and the shower is unpleasant to use because it's tiny, a hand held shower head, and a dark shower curtain that sticks to you and does not let in much light. Also dogs in the area barked almost continuously for the 3 nights we were there, and we got very little sleep.
