The location is perfect- the room is bright and modern and the bed is comfortable.

Our room matched the overall style of the town perfectly and offered a great view. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hotel provides dedicated parking spaces in a large parking lot behind the building, which was very convenient for parking (less for carring everything to the room, which was in a very different street of the town). Breakfast had a good selection and the quality was very good. We also tried the restaurant at night and had a good time.

Check-in was a bit chaotic, as the restaurant where we were supposed to receive the keys was closed when we arrived. By chance, we spoke to a very friendly young man at the café next door. Although he wasn’t familiar with the hotel’s procedures, he kindly helped us contact the owners and handed us the keys. Unfortunately, we later had to bother him again because we couldn't find the room and tried several buildings and rooms. It turned out that the room was located on a completely different street. We had received several instruction messages in advance, but they turned out to be inaccurate, which caused some confusion.

The view on the hills that I was able to enjoy from the small balcony was so pleasant and the sheets in the bed were made in such good cotton you wont find no more and fantastically ironed, a real treat !

The way from the parking to the “reception” should be better enlightened and cleaned

Bed was v v hard and shower was tiny; check-in was a bit of a palaver - you have to walk up a load of stairs from the car park, go to the bar of the tavern, get keys for the room which is a little walk away. If you’ve left your luggage in the car you then have to find your way back down to the car park then walk back up the stairs and through the town to the room. Also check-in not til 4.30 and checkout at 10 which is a little inflexible
