Cosy clean room in an excellent location on the High Street. The staff were friendly and the Poacher was a buzzing place with great free entertainment while we were there. We were worried when we saw previous reviews but The Poacher warned us before and after booking about potential noise and at the end of the day if you don't like noise, don't stay above a pub!

Location very convenient from the M5. Ample free parking. Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Neat and recently renovated bedroom. close to every amenity needed.
Whilst good value for money, the accommodation is fairly basic (but clean and mainly renovated) . The bed is a little soft!

Good location, handy free parking outside, friendly when checking in. Plenty of hot water good shower. No problem from the noise of the pub below, didn't need to use the ear plugs.
We were in the 1940's themed room, We were not expecting a 1940's Bed! Honestly I wish hosts would sleep in their own accommodation. You Literally feel every spring of the mattress in your back, and physically feel them above the surface of the mattress, even though there was a significant topper. the metal bar rim of the Mattress also very prominent. The duvet was so thick, like two thick eiderdowns together. Suffocating tbh. Great to theme a room, but the bed should be the most comfortable thing in the room. None of this made a good nights sleep with two people in a double bed.
