Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Edersee - Herzhausen 13 km. Hiking paths: Nationalpark Kellerwald 500 m. Please note: suitable for families. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected. Some of the holiday homes can be reached via steps. At the park entrance there is a bistro/café with a sun terrace, Sunday breakfast buffet, children's cinema, table football (limited opening times outside of the season). There is also the option of using a washing machine and dryer for a fee.

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, die Ferienanlage ist nicht mehr komplett bewirtschaftet. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles war sauber. Das Grundstück könnte etwas gepflegter sein, die Terasse hat eine schön Lage, es gibt viel Schatten durch Bäume und Sonnenschutz, das Haus bleibt auch im Hochsommer kühl. In der Anzeige sollte vermerkt werden, dass das Objekt Teil eines Doppelhauses ist. Wir haben uns mit unseren Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer ehemaligen Ferienhaussiedlung. Die ehemeligen Angebote wie Squash, Schwimmbad, Minigolf, Spielplatz sind derzeit nicht bewirtschaftet, nur ein kleines Restaurant gibt es, welches wir aber nicht getestet haben. Davon abgesehen ist es eine schön angelegte Anlage am Berg, mit vielen Bäumen und genügend Platz zum Nachbarhaus.
Es sollte erwähnt werden, dass das angebotene Haus Teil eines Doppelhauses ist, die Terassen gehen aber zu unterschiedlichen Seiten raus. Ansonsten ist das Haus sehr schön, modern eingerichtet, groß, sauber und sehr schön gelegen am Rand der Feriensiedlung nah des Waldes. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es durch die Bäume und den vorhandenen künstlichen Sonnenschutz sehr viel Schatten (für uns ein absoluter Pluspunkt im Sommer mit Kindern) und die Schlafzimmer nach hinten waren auch bei der langen Hitze angenehm kühl.
In der Nähe kann gut gewandert und gebiket werden, in den Nachbardörfern gibt es einen schönen Spielplatz und ein kleines Waldfreibad. Direkt neben der Feriensiedlung ist ein Pferdehof und der schöne Wildtierpark Frankenberg ist auch nicht weit entfernt. Bis zum Edersee ist es mit dem Auto mindestens 30min.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
