great apartment! so interesting- medieval meets modern industrial. so many wonderfully designed details. the best shower, comfortable bed and linens, very well provisioned kitchen. we were there a week and I did a lot of cooking especially with the market finds. Wonderful location and very quiet for sleeping. sparkling clean and great heating. perfect!

Localization of the property, kitchen utensilies and apparels, welcoming of owner.
Apt is In front of bakery and city center. Very cool inside the house I didn't have to turn ac on.
Communication with owner was fast and accurate.
managed fine with the stairs cause there is bathroom on ground floor. And these stairs have wall around it so we can lean on it. Stairs are a problem of any property in an ancient small village in Europe. It just has to be safe and this was.

The property is located in a central area with lots of parking. It is a wonderful whimsical apartment where industrial, rustic, modern and traditional features have been combined to create a fantastic place to stay. it is a real treat to the senses and a large well equipped space.
the fact we only stayed one night - will have to come back for longer so we can make full use of the apartment and better explore Avallon
