Malusha guest house is about 5 minute walk from the the main shopping street in Gabrovo, up a short hill. On street parking is free but Malusha street is not wide, so I parked 20 meters further up on a piece of land at the brow of the hill. Following the instructions to open the key safe was not difficult. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and has a nice modern design - matching the online images. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows and I didn't hear any noise during the night. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The room is air conditioned and the mini-fridge kept drinks and food cool. I had breakfast on the balcony-central shared area, which has a nice view over the town and I recommend buying some delicious food from Paprika, a store at the bottom on the hill that sells beautifully prepared Bulgarian dishes at very reasonable prices. The room had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay.

The host was very kind and when I called her, she explained to me everything I needed to know and gave me the key box code to be able to get my keys.
The property is very close to downtown but it is hard to find it because it is on a very small street and you need to climb stairs uphill. The place was nice but Gabrovo as a town is a complete waste of time. Use it only as transit point to Tryavna, Etara or Shipka.

Well renovated. Near the centrum.
One of the rooms in fact was an ex-basement with a very small window at street level. Very noisy on every passing car.
