Tynedale Coastal Retreat Whitley Bay Sleeps 9

Great social space for all the family. Children were very welcome with lots to amuse them. Excellent location, just a short walk to the sea. A very impressive online information pack was very helpful and there was a very generous welcome hamper provided.

We found the beds a bit softer than we are used to

Lovely,well equipped house in a perfect location. The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. Everywhere was very clean. Information prior to arrival was extremely efficient and informative.

Absolutely nothing!

A fabulous house with easy walking distance to the beach and Whitley Bay town centre. We were two families with kids and there was enough social space for us all.

good location , spacious rooms . useful to have kids toys available . responsive host prior to trip .

internet not working during our stay , host did try and fix but ended up in engineer visiting and we could not get hold of the host so had to wait at the property . Some mattresses were old and could feel the springs . very thin curtains in some bedrooms , so very light in the morning ( some people wouldn’t mind this ) oven not functioning properly ( temp not correct , had to put 40 degrees higher than required ) a few things not checked prior to arrival such as dishwasher needing salt and wasn’t cleaning plates properly , dvd cable could not be located , bin bags not there , and internet issue as above . worktops sticky in kitchen .
