There is also a fantastic farm shop and restaurant serving fresh local groceries, ales and fine wines within a few minutes’ drive from the town centre. A short stroll through the main street of Skipton takes you to the medieval Castle, one of the oldest in the country. The award-winning four day market, situated down the entire length of the main high street, attracts many tourists. There are many excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes, and the lively canal basin and Skipton woods offer great days out for both families and couples.

Gorgeous cottage with a very modern and cosy interior! Plenty of space and well-equipped for cooking! Such a great location near plenty of walks, which we loved! The host Jane was lovely and a pleasure to deal with! Would definitely recommend it!

Beckside Cottage is superbly renovated and decorated. The house is warm and welcoming and has everything a traveller requires to have a comfortable stay. I would recommend a stay at Beckside Cottage to anyone holidaying in beautiful Yorkshire.
