We had a truly delightful stay at the Old School House in Kinross. The accommodation was spotless, tastefully decorated, and full of character; blending old-world charm with modern comforts. Everything was well thought out, from the cosy furnishings to the clear and helpful instructions provided by the host, making check-in and day-to-day logistics a breeze.
The location is perfect: tucked away in a peaceful spot yet just a short stroll from the stunning Loch Leven. We enjoyed picturesque walks around the loch, where we spotted deer and even a few red squirrels darting through the trees. It’s a haven for nature lovers and dog owners too, as the property is wonderfully dog-friendly.
There is really only the tiniest comment and even then, this wasn't a problem for us at all, we just used plastic bags in the doorway. We thought it could be made slightly better if there were somewhere for muddy boots that was undercover to keep them dry, or simply take plastic bags with you to put over the top of them so they do not get wet on the boot rack.

Lovely quirky home in a fantastic location with great parking and a real quality feel from the fixtures and fittings. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. Great communication from the host Elaine and a great information folder with recommendations of places to visit and where to eat and drink.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!!
