Clean though not very big room. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room was not big. But we only slept in there and it was clean.
Had to chase staff for tea and milk but they responded well.

The beds & pillows were really comfortable
The food options for breakfast were limited. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal & toast, apples or tangerines, a small pot of yogurt. There were no pastries or gluten free options except an apple & tangerine. Those of us that had cooked breakfast said it wasn’t the best.

Location very good 10mins walk to Matlock bath main street, Matlock town 15 mins walk
Manager was new but was friendly.
Decor, lounge, bar and landing nice. Shower good.
Paid for breakfast £12.99 each. Tasteless cooked sausage, brown crisped cooked broken egg, no juice, no bread to toast. Only offered toast with the continental breakfast. Luke warm food. next to nothing on the continental breakfast area cereals only and that was it.. Boxes full of wires dumped in front of the breakfast bar, table stacked full of all sorts of kitchenware., very untidy. Coffee machine not working .
The 2 days we were there, pizza and food left outside a room, next to us. Bed was comfy but pillows not so.
Cracked toilet, lots of mold in the bathroom., dirty, needed a good clean
Outside seating area overgrown, rubbish scattered around.
Left hotel early even though we paid for 2 nights
