This was an experience, rather than a stay in a motel/hotel. The rambling gardens were a delight and the accommodation and hospitality made us feel we were in a large family home. Breakfast was delicious and made more special by Anne the host joining us each morning. The birdsong at dusk was unforgettable. We have told all our friends about our stay. It is most unusual to find accommodation that becomes a highlight of a visit.
Our only regret is that we were not there during the spring to see the garden at its most spectacular. Maybe next year.

Beautiful building and a wonderful garden. Cute alpacas which we feed in the morning after a great breakfast together with other guests in the dinning room. Nice looking pool, I regret not having time to go for a dip. Adorable tea set in the bedroom from wich we could make our own pots of tea. Very friendly owners, felt like a home away from home. Great place to spend the weekend with the girls.
The was a road closure which made it difficult to get to and from the city.

A lovely welcome from Anne on arrival.Stunning property with beautiful grounds you can enjoy. Feeding the alpacas was a bonus, they are very friendly. My room was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast was plentiful and served in the stylish dining room.
Location was a good choice for visiting Hamilton Gardens
Everything was excellent, nothing I didn’t like.
