*** A few steps from the Basilica of San Lorenzo, you can visit and get to know, even in a few days, the beauties of Florence. Refugee in the sense of peace that our apartment can offer; designed to welcome, pamper and offer every necessary comfort.
You will like it for these reasons: the atmosphere, the neighborhood, the light and the Jacuzzi to relax after a long day.
Accommodation is suitable for couples, business travelers, families (with children) and groups.
*** The apartment is located on the first floor, without a lift, of an ancient building in good condition. It is suitable for up to 5 people.
DAY AREA: fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and gas oven, dining table, fridge, coffee moka, electric kettle, microwave, various cooking utensils and wine glasses. Sofa bed and fireplace in front (it is absolutely forbidden to turn it on).
NIGHT AREA: bedroom with mezzanine, downstairs there are two single beds while upstairs there is a sofa bed and a desk. On request the two single beds can become a comfortable double bed.
BATHROOM: whirlpool bath, shower box and toilet with bidet.
EXTRAS: independent heating, a fan, a closet, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, television and clothesline.
*** The entire apartment is for the exclusive use of guests during the stay. Our keyholder will get in touch with you to arrange the check-in time, give you the keys and show you the apartment. We are available to guests for any requests and information, to make your stay even more pleasant and organized. For any unforeseen or clarification we will be reachable by phone or by e-mail.
*** At check-in we will need to register each guest's data for legal purposes only, therefore we will ask you to show a valid document.

The stay was as described and that is very important to me. Check in was confusing, but we figured out the doors to access. The host was quick to respond and helped us with checking in and what not. It is an old building and oddly shaped, but still a wonderful and quiet place to stay. It was hard to cool the place in June, but the cooler and fans helped a lot. Only 10 minutes to the Duomo!

The apartment was nice and within a walking distance to restaurants, cafes and most places of interests. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is only 7 to 10 minutes walk and so is the Museum, the Bell Tower (over 400 steps to the top) and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. All worth the visit.
Apartment was fairly clean but the air conditioning did not reach the bedroom but sleeping with the windows open kept it cool enough. Be aware though if you are visiting from the US, even though it is in the first floor, you still have to climb some steep steps to the apartment, this is because in Italy, buildings start the count at floor 0 (zero). Overall it was a great stay, check in was easy as they started to communicate a few days ahead.

Had to walk 10 min from the house to pick up and drop off the keys. Otherwise the place was nice.
