Lovely apartment! - We were just 2 people but would have slept 4 easily.
The area - Jovenceaux - is very convenient for the ski lift but quite a stiff 18 min hike uphill to the main village center. There is only one restaurant and one bar in Jovenceaux. I did know this when booking and it is reflected in it being cheaper than the places in middle of the village - so cannot complain.

The host was incredibly helpful but also left us to our own devices, and the apartment was really well supplied with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It was also quiet, and my preference is to avoid aprés-ski.
There is a ski lift less than 100m from the apartment which is fitted for return trips - essential when the ski runs on the lower pistes are closed.
Jouvenceaux, the location of Casa Vacanze Elisa on the lower slopes of Sauze d'Oulx, has been carefully renovated, highlighting the built heritage of the area but the facilities - restaurants and shops, haven't kept pace. This means that it's an 18 minute ascent along the main road up to the supermarket for supplies. The shuttle bus, which isn't covered by a lift pass, runs every half hour but stops at 5pm. We got round this issue by ensuring we'd finished skiing in time to change out of ski wear to catch the last bus up to the town centre.

Pomanjkanje naravne svetlobe, nas apartma je bil spodaj, obrnjem h glavni ulici, kjer je ves dan temacno in smo morali imeti prižgane luci skozi ves dan.
