This was by far the best, well appointed self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. They had literally thought of everything, and more!! The extra touches made our stay feel even more special. It is beautifully decorated and the views are just stunning. We will definitely be back

The view is incredible, no matter the weather. The location in a quiet rural area was ideal for us. However, the Hoods lodging itself is also fabulous. The renovation of the old milking parlor was done so well. It is lovely to see the old features preserved, along with having all the mod cons. The property is comfortable, clean, and very well maintained. The owners are on site and communication with them was wonderful. We are eagerly looking forward to our return.

A stunning holiday home with a beautiful view. Danette has thought of everything and has clearly put so much love into making the perfect place for a holiday. There are lovely natural toileteries and the most abundant hamper to welcome you along with very cute chickens trotting around!

If you manage to get a holiday at Hoods with all the return guests your in for a treat! The accommodation is lovely. Homely, spacious, everything my french chef husband needed in the kitchen. Ample parking and huge deck (i must confess we took our LaFuma sun lounges,) and a wonderful view. The owner is easy to talk too and has put a lot of thought into the property. There is an amazing farm shop just up the road and plenty to see and do in the local area, including walks of different kinds.
