About this villa rental
Casa di Pesa is a charming Chianti holiday home with a well-kept garden, a beautiful pool, and traditional Tuscan character. Set on the Carma wine estate, this stone house is divided into two separate apartments with private entrances, making it ideal for two couples travelling together while enjoying their own space.
The property is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, with easy access to the region’s renowned wineries, castles, and historic towns. Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, and Arezzo can all be reached comfortably for day trips. The nearby town of Radda, just 5 km away, offers a good selection of restaurants, small shops, and local cafés.
Casa di Pesa enjoys a peaceful countryside setting with sweeping views of olive groves and wooded Chianti hills. The slightly elevated position ensures a calm and relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by nature.
The two-storey stone house features a large covered terrace for outdoor dining, as well as two additional terraces – one next to the house and another with panoramic views – plus a tiered garden with plenty of seating options for relaxing at any time of day.
Inside, guests will find a warm and welcoming interior with terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, and traditionally styled furnishings that reflect the rustic charm of the region.
The friendly owners live in a separate part of the house with their two cats and one dog. They occasionally use the pool when guests are away but always respect the privacy of those staying at the villa.

Two couples had the two apartments. We were in the one with the larger kitchen. We arrived a bit early and the host accommodated us graciously. The apartments were clean and ready to go. The property is beautiful. The dining terrace was excellent (views, breeze). The pool was a comfortable temperature and the area around it very enjoyable. Our apartment was spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of equipment. It was (predictably) hot in late July, however the bedroom was sufficiently shaded that with a fan blowing, sleep was not a problem. The host kindly provided home pressed olive oil (delicious!) and a bottle of their inaugural wine. The host was very responsive to our many inquiries, and drew our attention to some local events. The home is close to Radda (10 min), but nevertheless feels remote. We would whole-heartedly recommend Casa di Pesa, and would happily go back if the opportunity presents itself.

Definitiv ein Ort für beste Erholung! Beide Wohnungen waren sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küchen sind top ausgestattet, verschiedene Töpfe, Pfannen, ein Korkenzieher, ausreichend Geschirr und sogar die Bialetti - alles vorhanden. Die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zum Dinieren im Garten haben uns ebenfalls begeistert! Eine sehr schicke Lounge am Pool, ein großer Esstisch mit Dach und Blick auf die Weinberge oder ein weiterer Esstisch direkt bei der großen Wohnung stehen zur Auswahl! Die schöne Holzterasse und ein Ausblick auf Lavendel und hügelige Toskanalandschaft brachte Urlaub fürs Auge. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und die Brise Salz im Wasser hat der Haut gut getan! Hinter dem Pool gibt es noch einen kleinen Garten mit Lavendel, Rosmarin, Feigen und Olivenbäumen.
Der Blick auf die Chianti-Weinfelder und der tolle Sternenhimmel werden uns in München definitiv fehlen. Alessandra hat uns super Restaurant- und Eisdielenempfehlungen gegeben und uns beim Reservieren auf Italienisch unterstützt! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche bei ihr! Danke für Alles!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa di Pesa, the accommodation is lovely, well equipped (maybe a few more cups for tea for us Brits) :)
