About this house rental
In Ehrenfeld beats the heart of Cologne. On the quiet Keplerstraße you are in the middle of Veedel. On foot to the cathedral or the metro to reach the whole city, even the other side of the Rhine with fair and Lanxess-Arena, everything goes really well.
The 42 m2 apartment on the first floor to the rear of the courtyard. In the Hambloch apartment Ehrenfeld is not smoking! A covered balcony can be used as a refuge for smokers.
A bathroom with shower, a 1.8 m wide double bed, a large LCD TV and free Wi-Fi bring the amenities you would not want to miss at home. This includes the modern high-quality fitted kitchen with its chic details - no white kitchen block !. Here self-catering is really fun, especially from the toaster on coffee maker, pots, egg cooker to pan everything is available. If you stay longer, you will appreciate the large fridge freezer.
Lighting, colors of the walls, a bit of wood and the great floor finish radiate cosiness.
If you stay longer, you can also use the existing washing machine.
The apartment is ideal for 2 persons. But with one or two children or a teenager, she can also be comfortably accommodated. As a further place to sleep then serves on 1.4 m wide fold-out sofa bed in the living area. Of course, crockery and cutlery are available in sufficient quantity.

We were welcomed by Christoph at his apartment. Very welcoming and helpful! He met us early which was great so we could start are vacation. Great apartment in a convenient location to markets restaurants and the metro. Comfortable clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again.

We travelled over with our 5yr old daughter for a weeks stay during Xmas Overall the experience was fab - the apartment is very well located for easy access to trains in / out of main centre (to get to all the markets etc) as well as a nice collection of bars / shops & restaurants right on the doorstep of the property The apartment served us well - was well cleaned and good overall condition … we had space & equipment enough to cook a Xmas dinner on Xmas day ! with there being a fully functional hob & oven The only “downside” was the lack of freezer (was “just” a fridge - with no ice box compartment) … so be prepared for that if you are buying food to make meals during your stayParking outside the property was difficult as never really any bays to use BUT the owner leased us access to his parking bay around the corner (gated parking lot) - BE WARNED however you will have a height limit on your car !! To get in to the car park area :)Owner was always on hand for Q&A and was quick to resolve an issue (with the kitchen hot water supply leaking) getting a plumber out on Xmas day ! We thoroughly enjoyed outlet stay and recommend both the city and the apartment if looking to visit for Xmas markets etc

This flat is a perfect little base for visiting Cologne.
Ehrenfeld is either a short train/tram ride or 35 min walk to the cathedral/tourist area. The local area is great, however. A really cool, chilled out place. You’ll find everything thing you need right on your doorstep!
The flat is clean, modern and has everything you need to be very comfortable.
