Top floor apartment in a beautiful, old, restored farmhouse in the Eifel. In the restoration of the house, we have placed much emphasis on the preservation of the old substance, but at the same time offer the comfort of a modern residential unit. On 60sqm you can feel at home and explore from here the beautiful South Eifel and Luxembourg.
Here you will find peace and relaxation.
We live in the same building and are therefore always available for you to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
In the immediate vicinity are various shops, a bakery, a butcher, banks, restaurants, restaurants and a snack. You can end your evenings in our sunny courtyard or on one of the restaurant terraces in the neighborhood.
There are many attractive cycling and hiking trails in and around Mettendorf. Walk z. B. on the Way of St. James from Mettendorf to the Luxembourg town of Echternach. Luxembourg is in the immediate vicinity, so we strongly recommend a trip to the so-called Luxembourgish Switzerland. Also, the visit of Germany's oldest city Trier, is highly recommended. Or visit the Maare in the volcanic Eifel. The excursion possibilities are almost unlimited. We are happy to assist you in the planning of your excursions in the southern Eifel and surroundings.
Even for motorcyclists, the region with its numerous winding roads through the beautiful landscape is highly recommended, also here we advise you with insider tips on routes that make the heart of every biker beat faster.
The center of Mettendorf can be reached on foot. However, if you plan excursions to the attractions of the region, a car is highly recommended. Bicycles can be borrowed if necessary.

We had a nice stay at Mettendorf, the apartment was nice, big, warm and calm. The village is quiet but there's a bakery at 500 m where you also can have a coffee and tea. The village is close to Small Switzerland in Luxembourg (12 km) and the sourroundings are very beautiful to have nice walks.
