Come live IN the mountains at Hawksnest cabin!! The log cabin is two stories with 2800 sq. feet that has 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths upstairs with open living area and a double bunk bedroom /bathroom downstairs with another living area and game room. It sits at 4200 feet in the Blue Ridge Mts. A spring fed creek trickles just off the back porch with 2 acres of woodland. The roads are easy access with plenty of room to park. View of Black Mountain range from front yard and drive way. Pleanty of space to play together as a group and floor plan provides privacy for sleeping areas and quiet reading. Kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Scenic beauty with plenty of comfort and space to play or rest. Extremely peaceful area with wildlife daily, a place for great family memories!

Adorable, spacious cabin. It had everything we could have needed. Beautiful property. We saw lots of deer and even a bear.

This was an amazing home/cabin in the woods. Such a special weekend with the family making lasting memories. The sound of the creek right in the backyard, and we got to see bears on the drive up the mountain! I would absolutely come back and stay here again. Annie was a great host and very responsive. FYI - Google Maps is still saying NC 197 north is closed. It was open as of 5/31 when we got to the cabin and a very nice drive up to Burnsville.

Stayed several nights with high school friends (mid 50’s now)Was a grand place to “get away from it all” and spend quality time with friends, plenty of spaces to all be together, yet plenty of spaces to feel secluded. Lots of nature and cool evenings and mornings. Highly Recommend if you’re looking for a place where restaurants and shopping not a priority. (WiFi inside the cabin worked well)
